A weighted version of the Yakoda QB Baetis, designed to get down a little quicker, as the point fly on a light nymph rig, a little extra weight on the bottom of a heavier setup, or as a dropper under a dry fly. Baetis are small mayflies that live in all water systems and can be found in greater numbers where the water temperatures are consistent—that’s why they particularly like tailwaters. This fly is a close imitation of a natural mayfly nymph.
